This may take the form of ministers of outreach, urban ministry, new church development, youth ministry, parish nursing, or work with para-church organizations. This degree is available online as well as residential. UDTS is the first Presbyterian (PCUSA) seminary to offer two graduate theological degrees utilizing distance learning.
Paul and Sara Knuth Endowed Scholarship
The University of Dubuque has recently received a generous gift of more than $900,000 from the estate of Helen E. Knuth ‘33 (1912-2010) to establish the Paul and Sara Knuth Endowed Scholarship. The scholarship is named to honor the memory of Helen's parents, Paul, a philosophy professor at UD from 1912-1919, and Sara Walker Knuth. Recipients of the scholarship will be full-time students with a GPA of at least 3.0, and who demonstrate their desire of earning a degree. Paul and Sara's commitment to education inspired their daughters, and this scholarship recognizes the high value the family placed on education.
