The Office for Alumni Relations is pleased to invite you to an exclusive event at the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium (NMRMA) for a "Behind the Scenes” tour and a presentation from the Natural and Applied Sciences Department at the University of Dubuque.

The tour will be led by UD alumnae Abby (Garner) Urban, C’03 and Mikaela Tully, C’09
Visit the lower level of the Aquarium where you can see and learn about all the animals, how they’re cared for, and other programs. Guests will also visit the pump and life support room that keeps the aquariums and animals up and running. Tour the National River Center, where guests will get an opportunity to view the Gulf of Mexico Aquarium from above and behind! At 30,000 gallons, the Gulf of Mexico Aquarium is the largest in Iowa and features rays, sharks, moray eels, and other schooling fish. Stay after the guided tour and view the rest of this amazing facility on your own!
