Staff members of the University of Dubuque Advancement team spent a few days visiting Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois. UD development and alumni staff spent two days sharing best practices regarding philanthropy and alumni engagement efforts. Eureka College, affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), is a liberal arts and science institution which also provides professional programs with a liberal arts emphasis.  Its current enrollment is 760 students.  In 2012, Eureka received the "Circle of Excellence Award for Overall Improvement" from CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) for the College's fundraising efforts. UD is thankful for our friends at Eureka and look forward to sharing and learning from each other in the future.
