The Adrian Choral Festival is a new tradition named to honor the founder of the University of Dubuque, Adrian Van Vliet. As we honor our founder, the University began this new tradition with a choral festival in the context of a rich history in fine and performing arts on campus on February 3.

Along with the University’s Concert Choir, 44 high school choir students from different high schools had the opportunity to participate in the Adrian Choral Festival.  Area high schools included Bellevue, Dubuque Senior, Cascade, Hempstead, Marquette, Southwestern Community, and Western Dubuque. In addition to optional voice lessons, students had the opportunity to participate in a master class with visiting guest artists  The Kings Singers. Together the students performed in the John and Alice Butler Hall in Heritage Center.
