Dubuque Spartan Tailgate

Saturday, September 16th was a perfect day for a pre-game tailgate for the UD vs. Cornell game. Approximately 50 local Dubuque alums gathered for another University of Dubuque Alumni Association (UDAA) event. There were plenty of giveaways and great food for everyone.
Once again the group was very eclectic, ranging from 1943 grads to our 2006 grads. Even future Spartans enjoyed the tailgate as parents and grandparents brought their children and grandchildren! A group of alums filled with Spartan Spirit, and the best football team the U has seen in many years made for a highly successful event; one that may become an annual event for our Dubuque Area Alumni Chapter. Congratulations to the University of Dubuque Spartans for beating the Cornell College Rams for their first conference win of the year! The Spartans won the football game 32-14. Way to go Spartans!!!
