Event Success in Phoenix

       
The University of Dubuque Alumni Association (UDAA) has done it again! That’s right, the UDAA has created another Alumni Chapter in Phoenix, AZ. There are quite a few alumni who live in or around Phoenix and on Monday, February 19, 2007 a total of 32 alumni, family and friends arrived at the Hermosa Inn Resort. That night, the dry, desert ground was transformed into Spartan soil!

Monday was President’s day, and how fitting was it that UD’s very own President, Dr. Jeffrey Bullock, was on hand to deliver an update and field some questions regarding the University of Dubuque. There was quite a lot of news to share: the completion of the Charles and Romona Myers Center, the addition and renovation to the University’s Science Center, the start of the Chlapaty Wellness and Recreation Center, and the announcement of the new on-line Master of Divinity degree.

The UDAA Phoenix Chapter plans to meet annually, so keep checking back to alumni.dbq.edu for more information on the next meeting!
