Dubuque and Cedar Rapids Cheer on the Spartans

       
GO SPARTANS! That was the message our University of Dubuque Alumni Association (UDAA) was sending loud and clear in Dubuque on Saturday, January 20, 2007 and the following week in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, January 27, 2007. Both the Dubuque and Cedar Rapids Alumni Chapters met for a pre-game social to help cheer on the ol’ Blue and White.

Matt Lux, C’05 helped host the Dubuque event in Alumni Hall. Matt use to play basketball at UD and continues to stay active. There were approximately 36 alumni, family and friends who arrived before the UD Vs. Loras game with some extreme Spartan Spirit! Another recent graduate, Ben Snyder, C’05 hosted the Cedar Rapids event in Gage Memorial Union at Coe College. There was around a dozen alumni, family and friends who arrived to help support the UD men’s and women’s basketball team take on Coe.
