David Dendy, VP for Philanthropy

"Time Flies" is certainly a proverbial phrase that I could ascribe to my life in the last 380 days.

I am starting to feel a little bit settled in my new job, my new home, my new surroundings and my new calling to be the Vice President for Philanthropy at the University of Dubuque.

It's been a roller coaster of a ride with some twists and turns that I did not anticipate but fortunately had my seat belt fastened tight so I wouldn't be thrown from the ride.

UD Provided Engaging Learning
Mark Ward, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College

UD is committed to providing a quality educational experience for undergraduate students. One way of measuring the quality of this experience is through the National Survey of Student Engagement, or NSSE. NSSE is a national survey that asks students about the amount of time and effort they put into their studies and how their institution has involved them in what activities that research studies show are linked to student learning. NSSE results are organized into five benchmarks of effective educational practice.
